Dr Caleb Harvie, B.HSci(Dent) M.Dent

Principal Dentist and Owner/Founder

Dr Caleb Harvie is the principal dentist and founder of Providence Dental Care, where he leads the practice with a focus on high standards of care for both patients and staff. Since beginning his dental career in 2015 and becoming fully qualified in 2019, Caleb has gained extensive experience across Ballarat, Melbourne, and now Adelaide, providing orthodontics, dental implants and surgery, cosmetic and therapeutic injectables, nitrous oxide sedation, ceramic crown and bridgework, aesthetic veneers and more.

Growing up on farm in Mildura, Victoria, Dr Caleb completed his secondary education locally before moving to Bendigo to study dentistry full-time. He has continued his professional development through advanced training in multiple areas of dentistry, with a keen interest in the latest techniques and technologies. He has a particular interest in digital dentistry, and complex restorative treatment.

Dr Caleb is passionate about building meaningful relationships with both patients and his dental team. He believes that open communication, understanding and trust are essential to creating a comfortable environment, making visits easier and more enjoyable for everyone involved.

Outside of dentistry, Dr Caleb enjoys spending time with his wife Meg and their little black cockerspaniel, Teddy. He keeps active with Pilates, gym workouts and walks around Adelaide. He has a love for adrenaline-filled activities like skydiving and bungee jumping. Dr Caleb also enjoys building computers, a hobby that complements his interest in high-tech, digital dentistry.

A fun fact: Dr Caleb has a wide taste in music, and enjoys when patients request unusual or less-known artists to be played over the speakers in the treatment room.
